Outcome learning standards for Regular Undergraduate Level

2.    Training level: Undergraduate
3.    Training duration: 4 years
4.    Subjects of intake and training: All candidates who hold a GCSE or the like and meet all the intake requirements of the UEH.
5.    Knowledge requirements
    5.1 General knowledge
Students are expected to hold firmly the knowledge of state policies and laws, have basic knowledge of the economy and society, and  able to apply academic methodologies to solve problems in real life.
For students who are non-majors of military affairs and physical training and sports, it is obligatory to hold a certificate of national defense education and physical education.
      5.2. Supplementary knowledge  
           Students are expected to have basic knowledge about finance banking, have an adequate understanding of financial market, public finance, business finance, business administration, accounting, etc., which enable them to learn specialized knowledge, as well as teach themselves in another major when the need arises.
        Banking graduates are required to have a TOEIC minimum score of 450 (for English), or DELF A2 (for French). For students of the French program, it is obligatory to have a DELF B1
    5.3. Specialized knowledge
        Students are provided with comprehensive and profound knowledge of banking to help them understand clearly such commercial banking affairs as capital mobilization, credit issuing, international payment, foreign currency trading, banking accounting, banking administration, financial investment, etc.
     Banking graduates are expected to be able to do research and solve problems related to banking, to learn easily relevant professional affairs in the banks and other non-banking agencies. They can collect necessary information, analyze operative situations of both nationwide and worldwide banks.
6.       Requirements about skills
     6.1 Hard skills
     Students are expected to accumulate Professional skills, Majors-related skills, situation-handling and problem-solving skills, and calculation and data analysis skills.
     6.2 Soft skills
     Students are trained in essential job skills: effective communication skills, presentation skills, teamwork skills, report-writing skills, and foreign language and computing skills.
7.    Requirements about attitudes
Students are required to be acutely aware of and respectful to banking ethic, and responsible to the society and in doing their jobs.
–    To have good manners and morals
–    To be responsible to the society and their jobs.
–    To be highly- disciplined at work, independent, creative, professional in doing their jobs, cooperative, friendly with colleagues and others.
8.    Job positions for banking graduates
Banking graduates can undertake job positions relevant to finance banking:
–    Specialists in credits, international payment, foreign currency trading, capital management, financial counseling, transactions, accounting, etc. in the banks.
–    Specialists in finance, investment analysis, financial counseling, and investment list management in companies and other financial non-banking agencies.
–    Researchers, teachers in the field of finance banking in research institutes and undergraduate education institutions.
9.    Ability to do self-study and graduate studies
Banking graduates are expected to be able to teach themselves or do self-study to improve their knowledge and skills, develop analytical and critical thinking skills, and well-prepared for graduate studies for the master’s degree or doctorate in domestic or foreign universities, or for study programs designed in cooperation with foreign countries.
