Greetings from School of Banking – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your companionship, support, and cooperation during the past time. These are valuable values that contribute to our scientific activities and hope it will continue for the next year – 2021.
We sincerely inform you about the seminar series of the Banking Faculty to be held in 2021 with many young and prominent performers in a variety of research fields with the most practical sharing about activities in scientific research and international publication.

SOB RESEARCH SEMINAR 2021 (SRS 2021) is expected to organize with the presence of Keynote Speaker –  Toan Huynh Luu Duc. The details of SRS 2021 are below:

About Keynote speaker:

Toan Luu Duc Huynh is a lecturer in Banking and Finance at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). His research interests include three main pillars: Behavioral economics; Financial economics and behavioral finance; Econometric modeling and machine learning.

He has published more than 400 research papers in many prestigious journals such as Energy Economics, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Finance Research Letters, Safety Science and Journal of Environmental Management, … as an independent author or co-author.

Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at WHU – Otto Beisheim School Of Management, Germany’s top university, and 23rd in the World University Rankings – Masters In Finance.

He is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Asian Business and Economics Studies, a co-editor for the Middle East and Asia for the Journal of Economic Asymmetries, a member of the editorial board for Post-Communist Economies.

He is also a guest editor for Asia-Pacific Financial Markets (Theme: Green and Sustainable Finance in the Asia-Pacific Markets), Post-Communist Economies (Theme: Contemporary Issues in the Vietnamese economy: sustainability, technology, and uncertainties), and Economics and Business Letters.
